These wonderful vintage ink stamps will do an awesome job as decoration pieces for your interior.
The stamps come from an old TenCate textile factory in the east of The Netherlands. TenCate is a Dutch multinational which first official document dates back to 1704, indicating the trade activities in textiles by the Ten Cate family.
The stamps were used for sending and marking the different types of fabrics from the factory. On this stamp the civic crest of the Dutch city Leiden is visible. Furthermore the name of Leiden and the old textile company De Heyder & Co is marked on the stamp. Back in 1890 De Heyder & Co was the biggest factory in Leiden!
