The wooden robot is an extraordinary decorative piece that will add a dash of fun in your interior.

The wooden Robots are designed by Based on a True Story and are handmade by Lorens. Lorens comes from the island Timor of Indonesia and is a specialist in woodcarving. Suar is the type of wood that is used to make these wooden Robots. The colour difference in the wood (the core of the tree tends to be darker of colour) and the fact that it’s handmade makes this item very unique: none of the wooden Robots are identical. The Robots are hand-carved from a single block of wood, no stiches or glue are used in this process. Quite impressive!

Only 26 wooden Robots are made, each one is marked with a number. A must have collectable!
